The year-end is here, and it’s time to leave behind the heat and congestion. If you’re thinking of a mountain escape, there is one closer than you think from Singapore! Getting to Resorts World Genting (RWG) is a breeze with our daily bus services, facilitated by our appointed bus agents. Choose from the nearest pick-up point to you for a short 2D1N stay. 

Other options include:

• Driving up (the journey takes around 4.5 to 5 hours)
• Taking a plane (typically around 70 minutes duration) to Kuala Lumpur then a one-hour bus ride to RWG/a taxi or e-hailing service ride. Note that the Subang Airport is nearer to RWG than KLIA. There are flights available from Singapore Seletar Airport to Subang.

Day 1
5.30am Take the bus from Singapore. Note: There are buses at other times, but this allows you to maximise your time at RWG. Check other timings here.

12.00pm Arrive at the First World Hotel. 
Note: Some buses may take you to the mid-hill point at the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Terminal, but it’s best to search for ones that take you right to the top.

12.15pm Leave your luggage at the hotel of your choice. You can choose from our 7 Hotels here. We recommend staying at the First World Hotel or the Genting SkyWorlds Hotel for families.

1.30pm Experience the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park. The outdoor theme park is built across 26 acres of land, taking its visitors on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure inspired “worlds”, Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town, Andromeda Base, Ice Age, Studio Plaza, Epic, and Rio. Make sure to book your tickets here the day before to avoid disappointment.

6.00pm Dinner at High Line Roof Top Market. After a fun day at the theme park, it’s time for some rest food. Enjoy outdoor dining and hearty dishes like the Smoked Beef Brisket. Yum!

7.30pm Shopping at SkyAvenue Complex, explore the resort. End the day with shopping at our massive lifestyle mall which boasts over 100 brands and shops. If you’re not into shopping, just take time to wander around our massive resort to see its amazing offerings. Then head back to your hotel room for some much-needed sleep. 

End of Day 1

Day 2
8.00 am Breakfast at Coffee Terrace. Rise and shine! Make sure to eat to your heart’s content from a spread of freshly-made Western and Asian goodies.

9.30am Visit Ripley’s Adventureland. It’s now time to head indoors for fun with a world of dinosaurs, scary zombies, fascinating oddities, and more. This includes:

• Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Odditorium: There are over 300 artefacts and interactive displays here such as the horse-faced woman or the Buddha statue made out of a million dollars. 
• Jurassic Research Centre: Encounter various lifelike dinosaur species, some of which actually move and face a velociraptor attack. 
• 4D Trick Art Museum: Take unique pictures that will last a lifetime with exciting backdrops like you’re in outer space and more.
• Zombie Outbreak: Run for your lives and scream your lungs out at this spooky haunted house.
• Eagle Landing Zipline: Zoom at speeds up to 25km/h across the Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park above everyone with this cool flying fox experience.
• Jungle Gym: This is one for kids from ages 4 to 12 where they can have a ball of a time, quite literally, with ball pits, slides, crawling tunnels, trampolines, and more.

1.00pm Lunch at Harry Ramsden. There’s a long journey ahead before the trip home, so make sure to tuck into a meal of the highest quality North Atlantic fish coated in crispy, fresh batter still made from Harry’s own secret recipe, and served with a side of tasty, double-cooked chips.

2.30pm Return to Ripley’s Adventureland to enjoy the attractions mentioned above.
